Further treatments of high blood
pressure
High blood pressure can be difficult to manage with
natural remedies but there is evidence that the DASH
(Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet which
includes fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish, whole
grains, low fat dairy products and nuts as well as
exercise and magnesium can be used to lower blood
pressure. The dose of magnesium that has been used in
clinical trials is 600—800mg daily.
