Treating high blood pressure
Recently the leader article in Time magazine highlighted
the significant prevalence of high blood pressure in the
American population.
The silent killer can compromise heart function
and lead to stroke and heart attacks.
Lifestyle factors have been isolated as one of
the primary causes of this disease.
If you want to lower your blood pressure then you
need to stop smoking, cut out fatty foods and those that
are high in salt and replace these with low fat dairy
products, nuts, seeds, green vegetables and fruits,
reduce your alcohol intake, maintain your optimal
weight, exercise five times a week for at least one
hour, reduce your stress by having regular periods of
relaxation or meditation and comply with your medication
if these natural methods aren’t doing the job.
