Gingko biloba and mobile phones
This herb has numerous benefits including the
improvement of blood flow, the enhancement of memory and
mental powers and the amelioration of mild to moderate
dementia, which is characteristic of Alzheimer’s
disease. Now
with the widespread use of mobile phones and the
possible adverse health outcomes that this practice can
generate a recent study detailing the benefits of this
herb in terms of reducing oxidative stress is most
reassuring. While
the jury is still out with regard to the negative
effects of mobile phone irradiation there are studies,
which suggest that this practice might even lead to the
development of brain cancer.
It is thought that the low-intensity
electromagnetic irradiation emitted by mobile phones
leads to an accumulation of free radical stress or
oxidative damage and it is these destructive effects,
which lead to negative health outcomes.
In this study those animals that received gingko
biloba did not have any changes associated with free
radical damage whereas the other group of animals who
were exposed to electro magnetic irradiation similar to
that which is emitted by mobile phones had an increase
in those enzymes responsible for neutralising free
radicals. This
experiment suggested that this herb preserves those
antioxidants responsible for nullifying any adverse free
radical damage that mobile phones might generate. Remember gingko biloba, which might also protect against the
development of macular degeneration and is an
alternative treatment for vitiligo is found in Neurazest
