QUESTION 1:
If
I live at an elevation of 6000 ft in Colorado all of my
life, will the dry and thin air cause my facial skin to
age and wrinkle faster than if I were to live in
Wisconsin where there is a lot of moisture and oxygen in
the air?
Answer:
As long as you stay out of the sun and only allow
yourself ス hour exposure after 3pm this should not be a
problem.
QUESTION 2: I take oroxine as I had my thyroid removed and I知 also taking luvox
for depression. Are
these compatible?
Answer: Absolutely.
There's no problem combining these two.
QUESTION 3:
My son is 16 years old and is only 5feet 2inches. Is there anything he
can take to grow a couple of inches?
Answer: You
could have his condition reviewed by your doctor or you
could wait a couple of years to see whether he grows any
further.
QUESTION
4: I知
not sure why my doctor has prescribed oroxine.
Could you explain why?
Answer:
Your
doctor would have prescribed oroxine because you have an
under functioning thyroid gland.
The thyroid gland controls your metabolism and
has a dramatic impact on your energy and a host of other
metabolic processes in your body and once you have
insufficient thyroid hormone then everything will slow
down. Hence
the need for replacement.
QUESTION 5: Two years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and
prescribed Dipentum by my gastroenterologist.
I would like to manage my condition using more natural
means than Dipentum, which I would like to stop using.
What more natural remedies can you suggest?
Answer:
Eliminating dairy, yeast and gluten in sequential fashion might be
helpful but you would have to experiment with this
approach. There
is preliminary evidence that supplementing with omega-3
fatty acids found in fish or flaxseed oil, the amino
acid glutamine and beneficial flora such as acidophilus
and bifidus might yield positive outcomes. Germinated
barley has the ability to reduce the symptoms associated
with ulcerative colitis while chlorella has also been
noted to be useful.
QUESTION 6: I知
taking oroxine as I知 having a problem with my thyroid
gland but as I知 also going through menopause and am
suffering from hot flushes and some other symptoms I知
wandering whether I could take hormones or other
treatments and whether these are compatible with thyroid
hormones.
Answer:
Yes there is no problem taking treatments to manage
menopause together with oroxine.
