QUESTION 1: I am always tired and I get at least 8 hrs of sleep a day.  I am only in my mid 20's and I know this can't be normal.  I eat right, but I do lack red meat from my diet.  Could this be the issue?

Answer:  You should have your iron levels checked by your doctor along with any other tests his/her medical assessment deems necessary. This is definitely a problem that needs comprehensive medical evaluation.

QUESTION 2:  How is Klebsiella pneumoniae implicated in respiratory tract infections?

Answer:  This germ commonly causes lung infections or pneumonia.  Those folk with weakened immune systems are usually infected with Klebsiella.  It can be spread person-to-person via droplet infestation.

QUESTION 3:I have been diagnosed with I.B.S (irritable bowel syndrome) and have had an upset stomach for 9 years.  I have tried Western and Eastern medicines but they don't help.  Is there any cure for this?  My bowels don't empty completely.  I get relief after defecation.  My bowels empty after 3-4 sittings.  I don't have a routine for defecation.  Now I have developed anxiety and depression secondary to IBS.  I want to set-up my routine of defecation like other normal people.  Please suggest a cure if there is any in this world.

Answer: I have found that with regard to your disorder food allergy/intolerance, inadequacy of digestive enzymes, the presence of abnormal germs in the bowel and hormonal imbalance needs to be evaluated by a practitioner who is aware of the need to investigate these possibilities.  For example a gluten intolerance or candida infestation could be the underlying cause of your problem.  Anxiety and depression might be related to an inadequacy of such important nutrients as the B vitamins and magnesium.  Go to the recent ‘What’s New’ review on my site for an update on these.

QUESTION 4: I read your article on acne.  Above the heading it says women’s health.  Does that article apply to men also? (http://www.eternalhealth.org/womens_health/acne.htm My interest in acne is because I have noticed a sure association with having sex and acne.  When I stop having sex my acne quickly stops.  When I have sex my acne quickly comes back.  This has been a problem for about 10 years.  I have only just discovered the elusive obvious reason.  Do you have any products, suggestion or recommendations?

Answer:  Men also suffer from hormonal problems and it is high testosterone and the stronger dihydrotestosterone, which might lead to skin conditions such as acne.  This could be your problem as these hormones might increase with sexual activity.  Alternately if you sweat profusely during sexual activity this might also be an issue. Acne can be difficult to manage.  I have found that food allergy is implicated.  I suggest you have your hormonal levels and food allergies investigated.
